At HomeGuard, our mission is to put an end to injustice brought upon the most vulnerable members of society by providing a service that stops those wanting to exploit others in their tracks!
Our staff are here to help, they are trained, Advance DBS checked (Vetted), and they care.
We will always be available to sit down and have a cup of tea with you whilst we discuss the work on your home. And, if we can help with anything else we will.
We can refer to the following agencies if you want or need extra help:
- East Sussex fire and rescue Fire safety for smoke alarm checks
- Sussex police online reports for any crime or ASB related matters
- Social services
- Age related charities
- Disability charities
- Gender specific charities
Older People
HomeGuard Group is committed to protecting the wellbeing of older individuals. We understand the unique vulnerabilities faced by the elderly, including physical and cognitive decline, social isolation, and financial exploitation. To safeguard older people, we:
- Provide specialised training: Our staff receive training on elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation, enabling them to identify signs of abuse and take appropriate action.
- Promote awareness: We raise awareness about elder abuse through community outreach programs, educational materials, and partnerships with local organisations.
- Offer tailored support: We provide personalised referrals to support services for older individuals, including home care, companionship, and assistance with daily living activities.
- Collaborate with agencies: We work closely with local authorities, social services, and healthcare providers to ensure older people receive the necessary care and protection
People with disabilities
HomeGuard Group is dedicated to creating an inclusive environment for individuals with disabilities. We recognise the unique challenges faced by people with disabilities and are committed to providing accessible and supportive services. To safeguard individuals with disabilities, we:
- Provide inclusive training: Our staff receive training on disability awareness, accessibility, and communication strategies, ensuring they are equipped to interact effectively with individuals with disabilities.
- Respect individual needs: We respect the individual needs and preferences of individuals with disabilities. We encourage open communication and collaboration to ensure their specific requirements are met.
- Collaborate with organizations: We work closely with disability advocacy organizations and service providers to ensure individuals with disabilities have access to the support and resources they need

HomeGuard Group is committed to promoting the safety and wellbeing of women and girls. We recognize the unique vulnerabilities faced by women and girls, including gender-based violence, harassment, and discrimination. To safeguard women and girls, we:
- Provide gender-specific training: Our staff receive training on gender-based violence, harassment, and discrimination, enabling them to identify and address these issues.
- Promote awareness: We raise awareness about gender-based violence and harassment through community outreach programs and educational materials.
- Collaborate with agencies: We work closely with women's shelters, support organizations, and law enforcement agencies to ensure women and girls have access to the help they need
